Margaret Martinez 1943 ~ 2009 MAGNA- Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Margaret Aurora Martinez, passed away Feb. 3, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 20, 1943 in San Juan, New Mexico to Jose A. and Pauline Garcia Martinez. She married Tommy Lee Martinez in 1959 in Salt Lake City. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from Granite School District and Merit Medical. She loved camping and spending time at the cabin with family. She enjoyed many crafts including painting and sewing, and especially cooking for everyone. She is survived by her husband; children, Carol (Arnulfo) Sosa, Annette (Salvador) Alvarez, Tammy (Billy) Martinez, and Troy (Sadie) Martinez; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Frances Velasquez, Armando Martinez, Neila (Henry) Padilla, LeRoy (Judy) Martinez, Joe Beto (Carla) Martinez, and Martha (Jeff) Searle; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and other loved ones. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2840 S. 9000 W., where friends and family may call Monday 6-7:30 p.m.
She will be missed. camping will never be the same .
So Aaron got another tatto on sunday . he wanted to do something in memory for his dad . Will is the guy who did it ! he does an awesome job ! now Aaron wants more . He said only 3 more but , will see.

I spent saturday over at my mother in laws and this was our project for the day.
My mom made Ashlynn this awesome hat and scarf . Isn't it the cutest . She said she is going to make one next. Ashlynn is already a scrapbooker check out this page she made . I think it's pretty good for a 4 year old. She loves scrapbooking .
